Social business is a fast growing hybrid of social media, networking and other technologies (like knowledge sharing and CRM) which is predicted be a $4.6 billion market by 2014.
Combining data from Jive’s Social Business Index, the Altimeter Group and others, the infographic shows that while nascent, the growth of social business is poised for impressive growth. Some highlights:
- 53% of executives believe they have to adopt social business or risk falling behind
- 57% of executives believe they will see a revenue increase if they implement social business
- Tech (16%), Healthcare (11%) and Financial Services (11%) are the most engaged sectors in social business
